Comic book geeks, please enter

What would you say is the top 5 best story line in comic books?

Mine would be:

1. X-Men "Dark Phoenix"
2. Batman "Dark Knight"
3. X-Tinction Agenda
4. Watchmen
5. Frank Miller's run on Daredevil (Elektra/Bullseye)

1.) The Death of Superman series

2.) Batman "Year One"

3.) The Superman/Batman comic book adaptation from the T.V. series "World's Finest" (whoever thought about Bruce Wayne romancing Lois Lane is a interesting idea)

4.) any Spider-Man Story Line.

5.) Superman "Year One"

Yes, I'm a geek and proud of it. Arya, How many Comic Books have you collected?

I'll agree that Dark Phoenix Saga should be in there.

Watchmen, yes. V for Vendetta, too.

What about Sandman? I'd say that Season of Mists should probably be in there, if not one of the other storylines...

Cerebus "Melmoth" was incredible.

Usagi Yojimbo "Grasscutter."

Lone Wolf and Cub ... all 28 volumes of it!

Rich Veitch's "Bratpack" really was powerful.

(Some of these are a little dark and adult, btw-- don't go out picking them up for your kids!)
