Frustrated !! Please help!
 

Two questions:
What is a letter of intent and is it a prerequisite to attending rush?

How do I research the chapter I want to join, if the chapter is a city chapter (not based on my school campus). I have no idea how to find out who the president of the chapter is or a contact #. i have researched the sorority on a national level extensively, but i am completely stumped on how to research the actual history of the chapter. the chapter does not have a website.

call headquarters to get a contact person or ussually the national website has a link for you to find out who to contact.


And a letter of intenet is just that. A letter that tells what you can, have and will do for yourself and the organization

It is a way to show "your intentions"

I depends on the schhol or chapter. Some post signs that say to send a letter of intent before rush, others don't. I don't think it is a major requirement, just a way of knowing how many are coming and what they may have to offer.
