Zeta Sister Celebrating 100th Birthday
 

In Southern California, one of their Alums is celebrating her 100th birthday. Her friend is having a card shower for her. Birthday is November 17th. If you would be so kind as to send her a birthday card stating your college chapter and if you belong to Alumnae Chapter that information also. Appreciate helping us celebrate this auspicious occasion.

And as it turns out, Marie Adair happened to be Long Beach (CA) Alumnae Chapter's 1st President in 1937. Amazing!!!

I am so excited. We are having our Founders Day celebration this Saturday for my alumnae group. I decided to bring a card for our whole group to sign and then forward to our sister in California.

use the color= tag and the size= tag for color and font size.

For example, to get text like this:

[size=huge]GO BIG RED[/size]

You need to enter tags like this (except substitute [] for {}).

{color=red}{size=huge}{b}GO BIG RED{/b}{/size}{/color}

This is great! I sent it out to the Dallas Night alumnae.

just got an email from our california sisters saying that so far, our sister who is about to celebrate her 100th birthday, marie, has received over 100 cards from all over the country. the district president has hired a digital photographer and will be sending a story with pics to themis, as well as posting on various websites. she promises to give us a final total and a rehash of marie's big day. i will find out a website we can check for the pictures and share that info. here. thanks again to everyone who has mailed a card to marie and just a reminder that there is still time if you haven't mailed yours yet. on behalf of our sisters in california, many, many thanks. and as one of my favorite songs goes,"gee, i'm glad i'm a zeta, yes i am!". zlam, lisa
