Yeah I hate professors. They were cool untill they started teaching nothing but real world classes. Now professors are just people who failed in the real world.

In order to write better I had to unlearn what I learned/learn in school. Both Highschool and college.

This is one of the most interesting articles I have ever read. It reminds me of an episode of ER when a bird researcher was brought in after a little accident. She was observing nonverbal interactions between men and women and compared them to the mating rituals of different species of birds. I also found the author's style like Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw!

At least she didn't sound as self-righteous as the kids they get to write the "teen" columns in my hometown paper.

I dunno, it seemed very forced. She was obviously trying to write with style, and it was very rough IMO. I remember learning to write "with style" my junior year of high school and I remember how forced my writing seemed.

Maybe she'll get better eventually, but you can tell she wrote this for an assignment, not to put in the paper.
