From APO to.....?

Hi everyone....this is a question directed moreso toward GC'ers who are in Alpha Phi Omega and a Social GLO, however, any member of a service GLO may respond.

Which did you pledge first?

Did you enjoy the Fraternal aspect of your service GLO and then decide to expand it by joining a social?

Did you enjoy philanthropy so much in your social GLO that you wanted more, more, MORE!?!?!

****

I pledged APO first and then became an Alpha four years later, in an Alumni Chapter. APO was about "service" while Alpha was more about "social action" with service interwoven in the programs. Of course, there is Brotherhood and Fraternalism throughout both orgs.

I pledged APO first, as a first semester freshman. You can not pledge a social glo until 2nd semester at my school. I did not want to go greek but after joining APO I wanted more and decided to rush. I'm currently VP of APO. I love both my houses and wouldn't give either up.

APO, Beta Upsilom, NWMoState U.

LXA, PSU, Kansas! No Chapter. But being the founding Father of the Local, would not have had time!

What did we do at my ole school, wheeled a young lady around to classes. Was it rewarding, YES!

What do We as My Chapter do for Charity: Great North American National Food Drive, Western-Week, and Hot Tub A Thon!

Others do teeter-totter thon, Water-Melon bust!

APO, with out a doubt, is a Great Organization!:)

Not APO, but...

I joined Kappa Phi first. I did it because I was looking for a home away from home and I found a Christian one in Kappa Phi. I was so excited with my chapter that I decided to look into social Greek life and I found a sisterhood based on different principles in Phi Gamma Pi. I love both SOOO much! I could never live without ANY of my sisters!
