Natalie Cole
I guess you all can say...Dang, I know what she did this weekend...
Yeah, I watched TV...finally, something on the tube to hold my attention! Anyway, I am watching this movie about Natalie Cole. I am loving it! I think Theresa (where has she been since Girl6?) Randle did a good job playing "junkie Natalie". Did anyone else see it? BTW, I saw something that made me think of poor Whitney (Houston). There was a scene where her mother (Natalie's) and family had Natalie's assets turned over to her mom, because of her heavy drug use. Now, just last week I had heard that Whitney had signed her assets over to her father.... http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/eek.gif Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm! |
What's up AKA2D? Yeah I saw the movie. It was okay. I thought Teresa did do a good job of playing a junkie. But no one plays the junkie role better than Diana Ross in "Lady Sings the Blues". But I love the movie's main message about God's grace. I also commend her for putting her personal story out there so that others going through the same thing (Whitney Houston) can learn from it. I just have one question though, how can someone do drugs knowing what they can do to you.
By the way, I didn't get your email about things I need to do for the Bayou Classic next year. I was having trouble with my Inbox so can you send me another email? ------------------ KAPPA ALPHA PSI FRATERNITY, INC. SPR 97 XI LAMBDA |

I saw the movie this weekend. For some reason, it also reminded me of Whitney Houston. I was surprised at how she, Natalie, was such a bad influence on the preacher! It reminded me of what my mom used to tell me as a child. That, good people always think that by association they can turn the bad around, but usually the opposite happens and the bad rubs off on the good. Anyway, overall, the movie was pretty good.
