Gloves?

Apparently gloves are back in fashion. Umm.... why?

Some of these gloves that they are showing on Today look like those rubber cleaning gloves that go up to your elbows.

I don't understand where some "fashion" comes from.

They had these weird jockey-looking gloves in Banana Republic. I also saw some that looked like golf gloves at J.Crew. I don't know what's going on there. I happen to enjoy my fur-lined leather gloves in the winter, but that's about it.
