Hello ladies,
I have a quick ?. I'm getting a gift for a dear friend who is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. It will be personalized for her with "Soror" her name. Is it inappropriate for me to give a gift with "Soror" on it if I am not a member? Sincerest Thanks and a big ol' happy holidays to you.

Why can't you just get her first (or last) name with her chapter and year on it?

Cause she IS NOT your Soror, right? I think it would be inappropriate for you as a SF.

I wouldn't do it. I have a very dear friend that I plan on getting a few gifts for but the thought never crossed my mind to get that word put on anything I'm getting for her. Take AKA2D's advice. The chapter name and year is an excellent idea.
