My family is getting an insanely good deal since we get our TV, Phone, and Internet through Cox and have been for years. For example: The digital cable is completely free...we pay the '70 channels' rate.

i pay 60 bucks for like 150 channels (i think?). anyways, i only watch ESPN NEWS, VIDEOGAME CHANNEL, and ESPN, ESPN2.

directv is like 40 i think.

I'm happy cuz dish network couldnt install dish in my apartment because of the way it was situated so cable is my only option!!

Call Dish Network! They can often (and often do) cut deals with apartment complexes. It is absolutely cheaper than cable and gives you more channels.

They also don't raise their rates every time you turn around.

Its free for us (cable) since my roommate works for the apartment complex. Dish came out and the general manager wouldn't let them install dish on the roof so they went home.

I prefer cable; the boy has satellite and it seems terribly limiting. At home, we have HDTV and digital, and it's amazing. I went to hang out with a friend, and she has HBO on Demand! That is possibly the greatest thing ever. You can watch SATC all weekend if you want! :p

For our cable and internet, we pay an obscenely low rate.

rachel, back in june i was just like you. we got cable in my house for the first time in two years.

Digital cable does suck. I just got digital cable and none of our digital channels come in properly. We had the cable guy come here 3 times to fix it and it still doen't work. I want my old cable back. Screw all these channels. There's nothing good on anyway.
