Drunk Dialing
 

Over the weekend I drunk dialed this guy that I know. I was wondering if I should appologize or just forget about it. I feel bad now when I see him I pretend like I don't see him because I'm not sure what to say.

For now on when I go out I just leave my phone at home or in the car so that I will not be tempted to call people at 3 and 4 in the morning.

I've totally done it tons of times, but I guess I generally long distance drunk dial. If I were you, I'd just laugh it off with him. Make a joke about it. It probably is sort of funny.

at least you didnt drunk text message- and then have him show it to all his friends! that is way worse-

Laugh it off- drunk dialing is a lot of fun...
I think it may be the one thing that cell phone companies need to use in their advertising
"It's 4am who do you want to call for a 'ride' home?"

He probably thinks you're just a talk mama if you call him drunk but then avoid him.

It probably was funny, but if you're feeling that bad about it, apologize.

You should definitely just laugh it off. I never used to drunk dial, but now I call all my friends when I'm out-typically long distance friends. Everyone does it, make a joke about it-or say you were calling everyone you know that night so he doesn't think you were trying to booty call him...unless you want him to think that! ;)

I, too, am guilty of this. I have a very bad habit of calling everyone up while drunk and having these long conversations with them....or at least try to. Most of them don't mind, just a few get pissed since they have to be up at 7:00am for work and I call at 3-4am.

I wouldn't worry about the guy. He probably does the same thing or has in the past.

i got really trashed a few weeks ago and drunk dialed my mom because i was missing her...it was only like 9:30, but still funny nevertheless..she teased me about it for several days afterwards..

i've become a really bad drunk dialer as of late..i really need to leave my phone somewhere i can't get to it when i know i'm going to be drinking.

My mom and dad still havent let the call go unmentioned that I made at 5:30am one morning. I called her and just said, "Hey mom, what are you doing?" My dad was kind of pissed, he couldn't go back to sleep. It back fired on me eventually. Sometimes, just to aggravate me, my mom calls me real early in the morning on the weekends....around 7:00am. thats about as bad as a 4am call in my book.

Oh yes...I have definitely had my sessions of drunk dialing. But it is all in good fun!! I usually dial my sister or my friends. Luckily, I have never drunk dialed a guy!

Keep drinking, it'll happen sooner or later ;)

I don't drunk dial, but one of my guy friends used to do it to me, I thought it was hilarious, we'd have these great entertaining conversations, then joke about them later on.

come on now! Ive apologized like 10 million times for it! you even said it was humorous!!!! ;)

drunk dialing is good stuff, more people should do it. ill admit, theres been times i forgot what i said, so i apologized for what ive said b/c i dont remember, but so far i havent said anything bad. after all, hey, ur drunk, no one expects intelligent things to come from your mouth when you can barely stand.

and amy, if ur not careful ur gonna get another drunk dial sometime ;) and kiki, i havent hit you up in awhile so expect one soon! shoot, i might have to go out and kick back this weekend so i can get caught up!!!! :p

If he's out tonight I will appologize for calling him at 3 in the morning hopefully he'll just laugh it off if not then he has no sense of humor.

Guilty...

I had two guy friends from high school, they both go to VA Tech, they got the brunt of my drunk calls... It just always seemed like SUCH a good idea to call Robbie and Todd when I'm drunk - they are probably wondering how I am, right?

The worst is when I leave a message, and am forced to listen to it the next day... ha ha ha. Or when I scroll through my "called numbers" list the next day... and am like "I called so-and-so?"
