Just wanted to forward you this email that I got today -- I know that there is a thread on this board discussing the 59-year-old new member of the Phi Kappa Sigma chapter at Washington State, and they will be featured tomorrow on the Today show! FYI...I just heard from a producer at the Today Show and she said the story will air tomorrow (9/26) in the 9:30 hour (in between 9:30 and 10:00 AM Eastern). Please pass the word on to other brothers and friends and be sure to watch or set your TiVo!

A story about the 59 year old New Member, Dave "Blue" Waterstraat, at the Beta Psi Chapter (Washington State) is scheduled to appear on NBC's Today Show Friday morning (9/26). We do not know the exact time the story will air but one could assume it would be after the first hour when they cover the "hard" news of the day. Please note that if Friday turns out to be a big "hard" news day the story might get bumped to Monday. The story is supposed to very positive and we hope you all get a chance to tune in and check it out.

How cool! Another little fun tid-bit: ATO at Stetson University pledged and initiated a brother sometime in 98/99 that was about 45 years old. He's a really great guy and was super involved in the chapter, too!

I know this person is not as old-but there is a 26 year old who just pledged a fraternity here at North Texas. Im not sure which one he is....texas*princess, maybe you know?

I think its Sigma Chi..and since you guys live next door :D

It is commendable that Greeks are Initiating maturer peopl, but come on, when did "OLD" get from 59 down to 26?:(

Can you forgive me? Its quite early, and I pulled an all-nighter studying for a philosophy test...

Our Campus paper has run 2-3 articles on Dave (aka Blue) this year, and the day of the show (friday) they ran a little info thing telling when his story was going to be on the Today show. Over here, we have been watching all week becuase we weren't sure when it would be on. I know that the Phi Kaps were really excited to see this air, and it put then in a really good light on our Greek System. And on a little exciting note, I was on it, as well as some of my sisters! Hey, maybe no one knows you, but at least you can say you were on national TV.

Too bad, I think Sigma Nu has a rule where you have to be under 25 to pledge..

Ok, I'm in the Beta Psi chapter of Kappa Delta and at our delta sig social on thursday night, they were Beta Psi's as well. I'm seeing beta psi's EVERYWHERE!!!!

Ah, the only Delta Sig chapter with a pool in their house. Hope the gentlemen of Beta Psi treated you well. The ones I met at convention were cool bros.
