5K Run for The Cure
 

A friend of mine, a Tri-Delta Alumna from Cal State Long Beach, experienced a breast cancer scare in 2001, and now she is running in a 5K to support the Komen Foundation.

I understand this cause is near and dear to the women of Zeta Tau Alpha, and if you could please pass this link along to your friends and sisters, we can help my friend Rita raise money to run for a cure for this disease.

Next month, I am going to participate in the Race for the Cure event in Phoenix. It is my first time doing it. I am excited and looking forward to participating.

Iota Omega is participating in Race for the Cure on Saturday in Baltimore. I'm so excited to go. I went two years ago and I haven't been since. But it's such a wonderful way to get involved, to help people, and to bond with sisters. During our philanthropy rectuitment party we made bracelets with pink beads. We're distributing them at the survivors tent.
