Fave Retreat
 

For all of you that have done chapter retreats in the past, what was your favorite part of it? We're planning one soon and we have some fun games planned...but it's our first one so we need ideas.

hmmm...my favorite part of retreat is the sisterhood time...getting to know one another, watching movies and just chatting...this is after all the business is taken care of...

ice breakers can be fun also!

For Fall Recruitment planning we had a camping trip. We all went camping together and nobody else was allowed. there are plenty of things to keep everyone busy and help get people closer. Cooking, putting together a tent, building a fire, etc. They all got us closer together.

We are having a retreat next weekend, and so far nothing is planned! I am going to start planning it myself, since no one is coordinating the thing. So i would like to hear everyone's ideas too!

This was a long long long time ago, but we had a blast! We grouped by "new member" class and each class did a skit, sang a song, putting an AGD spin on it. The funniest one was the women who sang the reggae version of "Lean on Me" and at the end, mooned us, each woman had a different letter on her skivvies and it spelled out I L O V E A G D. It was great!

At that same retreat, we brought a bunch of board games and played them in small groups. Scruples was a big one at the time and we knew our sisters so well that it was very easy to predict how they would answer and we KNEW when they were lying! Ahhh, those were good days :)
