Most embarrassing PE moment

I didn't want to hijack kitso's thread.

What's your most embarrassing PE moment when you were in school?

I have so many to choose from, I'll come back later.

WORST MOMENT of my grade school career...

Doing situps - all of the grils layed on the mats and did them while guys held their feet - then vice versa. While doing the situps i accidentally FARTED and the guy holding my feet yelled " STINK BOMB - run for cover" I wanted to DIE!!!!

My younger sister, who is now a respected school administrator, did the same thing!

Ohhhhhh, PE class... :o I had a teacher freshman year of high school who liked to single me out in front of the class because it really bothered me. The most embarrassing was having to do push-ups by myself in front of everyone because I was so nervous I couldn't hit the wiffle ball, or when he made me stand alone on one side of the volleyball net while he served the ball at me hard enough to knock me over to "help" me learn to play better. This poor man is dead now, God rest his soul, but I still can't say I ever liked him.

My most embaressing moment of PE was in the fifth grade. The PE teacher actually weighed us. And everyone knew what I weighed. I was not fat. But I sure thought I was after that. Fifth graders don't think about bone size, and development. The fact that I was one of the few that had to wear a bra, never entered my head. What a stupid PE teacher!!
I just wanted to be like those petite and cute girls. Years later I am grateful that I did not end up 5'1 and flat. LOL. :p

2 stories, same year & teacher:

First day of gym class all the students sit on the bleachers and the teachers talk about the goals of PE, locker room rules, attendance/participation policy, etc. So it's my freshman year of HS and I was in a class with about 100 students, ages freshman-senior. They take group attendance and they get to my name. I say "here," and think I'm all set. But I haev a very distinct last name and it just so happens that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS PLAY SPORTS. We have quite a famous name in our towns athletic history. So of course just calling my name was not the end of it. The teacher asks "Hey Sarah, are you related to Michael (my father), Tom (my uncle), Jim (other uncle), Aaron (cousin), Jackie (cousin), and Mark (other cousin)?" So I was like "Um, Yeah..." and he asks, "So, what sports are you planning on playing?" I had to sit there and say "None. I'm doing colorguard..." and sit there as he laughed at me as if it was some histerically funny joke. (I AM NOT ATHLETIC!) I was so embarrassed.

THEN, later that same semester we're playing floor hockey and the same teacher pulls me out of the game for being "too agressive." Apparently I had hit the ball too hard and it went flying too quickly into the net...everyone laughed because apparently girls don't ever get taken out for playing hard.

Most embarassing PE moment: happened in 11th grade. Our school had a swimming pool and we used to swim for PE for a semester. I got a cute, white swimsuit on sale at the end of summer and I wore it for the first time in PE a few months later. I wondered why boys were clustered around me when I got out of the pool until my best friend scurried over, threw her towel over my shoulders and explained that the water had rendered the suit almost transparent

Favorite PE moment was senior year. I was co-captain of the girls tennis team and our PE class was doing a tennis unit. One class, I found myself on the other side of the net from this punk a** kid who had picked on me unmercifully when I was a kid (see? and you all thought I was always cool! ;) ) I served the ball as hard as I could right into his kibbles-n-bits. He was doubled over for the longest time then he apparently threw up all over himself on the way to the locker room. Normally, I wouldn't gloat over something like that but that boy was evil, pure and simple.

I think I was hit in the head during a game of dodgeball, but I can't remember....

Damn that memory loss....

My sophomore year during our badminton unit I got nailed right in the eye with a birdie thing. You wouldn't think it would hurt but oh it does. He hit me so hard with the thing that I had the biggest black eye for soooo long and I had to go to the eye doctor b/c I couldn't see anything but black spots out of my right eye. It was so embarassing. :o

My PE teacher always picked the captains of teams from 4 different people - always! By fourth grade, the rest of us were a little sick of it, and I was delegated to ask him why. He told me that some people were made to be leaders, and others followers.

Years later, I told this story to a boyfriend. His response was priceless: "So you've been spending the rest of your life proving him wrong." Ouch.

But it was VERY sweet when I acheived a measure of fame in my home town, and that same teacher asked me to come speak to his class! :) Living well truly IS the best revenge!

Dodge ball, got hit in the head, tripped, then hit my head against the wall. It really really hurt.

in 7th grade we were playing kickball indoors(it must have been winter or raining) and i was running around the bases and trying to avoid being hit by the ball to be tagged out i ran sideways - face first into the wall...i had a bruise on my left cheek for like a week..
