Big/Lil Revealing Ideas
 

Hey guys, the KDs here at Texas A&M need some ideas for our big/lil revealing.. last year we gave all the new girls keys, and they had to run outside and try to find the car that their key would open. we've also done the follow the string to your big thing, and the dress up just like your big thing. anybody got any new ideas? keep in mind we have 55 girls in our pledge class, so we need to keep it relatively simple, but still fun. thanks!!!

Would it work to do something in your house?

We had each pledge go to a bedroom door and open it...you would probably have to do 2 rounds' worth but it could work.

well we usually hide the bigs in the rooms and do something fun to get the pledges to find the right rooms, but it's that "something fun" that we're stuck on..

Muffins: that is the cutest thing I have ever heard about the car key thing. I wish my chapter would be able to do it, but we do Big/Lil sis revealing at formal. All the Little Sis's get in a circle with a candle (that their big made for them and left during Big/Lil Sis week) and their Big stands right in front of them. All the actives are singing a song and when the song is over, the Big Sis's blow out the candles.

we used to do a scavenger hunt; all of the bigs would make up clues and leave them with different sisters in the house; the new members had to follow the clues and find different sisters in the house; it was a great way for new members to learn about older sisters, because the clues were always about the sisters; ex: Find the sister who vacations in Cypress every summer; after all the clues are found, the new members take their clues and put them together to make a puzzle; the puzzle reveals a poem; then as we are all gathered in a circle, each new member reads the poem that she has, and her big reads the last line to her

We get clues each day that week...notes and gifts. And at the end of the week the bigs are revealed!!
