philanthropy ideas

Hey all,
I'm new to the forum. I'm a junior at Lehigh (PA Kappa) Pi Phi. I was wondering what you all do for your craft during Philanthropy round of rush (assuming you have a philanthropy round...) In the past we've had each girl decorate a page that we assemble into letter books, but we're looking to change it, so any ideas would be helpful. We were thinking maybe bookmarks, since it's supposed to be related to our national philanthropy... Any ideas?

We've done a variety of things--one is painting letter blocks for local pre-schools. Last we made stuffed angels for a local philanthropy.

Bookmarks are always easy to do. The year I rushed our chapter made bookmarks for a local reading circle.
Since you don't really have to focus too much at the task at hand it's a great way to talk to the girls that are rushing.

We used to do bookmarks that we would donate to a local elem. school. They were really cute and easy to do while still talking to the girls.
