This might have already been discussed but I know I've got TONS of songs that I listen to when I'm in a certain mood.
for example:
When I'm getting ready for a night out: Venga Boys or Dr. Dre
After a bad day: "headstrong" or Chevelle
To cheer myself up: anything Dixie Chicks
When I'm more just mellow...: "Sway" from the American Pie soundtrack, Alana Davis, Dashboard Confessionals, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Josh Kelly


I'm obsessed with music lately now my computer is fixed...what are your songs?:D

I'm a geek... I love country music. I dance around in my underwear every morning listening to Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, and Lonestar while I'm getting ready for class. If I'm in a 'ehhh' mood I'll throw in Evanescence. If I'm sad or depressed, "Runaway Train" goes on repeat for hours on end....

Traffic music: Sandy's favorite Bon Jovi songs, Dashboard Confessionals, Dance Hall Crashers

Getting ready for a night out: all things Janet, Michelle Branch

Pissed off music: Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell, Alanis

Road Trips--

i recently split up all the mp3s on my computer to be listed by MOOD because it's easier that way!

here's what i've got:

-getting ready to go out: outkast, prince, michael jackson, enrique iglesias, tatu, etc.

-mellow, hanging out: dave matthews band, travis, incubus, etc.

-hyper, hanging out: metallica, eve6, stroke 9, the ataris, the used, dropkick murphys, flogging molly, hot hot heat, etc.

-nostalgic: 10,000 maniacs, sarah maclachlan, tori amos, smashing pumpkins, spin doctors, deep blue something, etc.

-angry at the world: marilyn manson, papa roach, linkin park, a perfect circle, etc.

-morose: certain songs by pink floyd, fisher, gregorian chants (i know, i'm weird but they make me feel better when i'm sad!) secret garden, yanni, etc.

-just plain happy: pat benatar, U2, lifehouse, showtunes, madonna, jimmy eat world, mighty mighty bosstones, reel big fish, billy idol, etc.
