Hey there everyone!!! Did anyone make it out to see the Fighting Temptations? If so how did you like it?

I saw it and it was a cute movie! I can say Beyonce tried realllyyy hard but the other actors around her really filled in the gaps... but the singing.. rather sang-in' was TOP NOTCH! I am going get the CD (I am sorry it was sold out yesterday)

A/w Montell Jordan was good I see him getting more acting opportunities! He was funny but I swear if it wasn't for that Kappa brand I am not sure I would have recognized him with all that hair...lol..

ETA: Obviously a few people saw it. It came in 2nd making $13.5 mill at the box office. :o

I liked it. I thought it was funny. I really liked La Tanya Richardson's (Samuel Jackson's wife) character.

I didn't know that was Samuel's wife.

The movie was ok. The singing was great. The singing made the movie. Nice to see Melba Moore working again.

Favorite line-"You know I'm your daddy".

WOW I didn't hear it did that well!!! I am glad to hear that! B/c we complain with the shoot em up bang bang movies I always try to get to the movies when other images are put out there of us to encourage Hollywood to keep em' coming you know??

Ok, I know this is bad but.... in comparison to Faith..... Beyonce held her own right??? :)

BTW hasn't Faith lost a lot of weight??!!!

Mike Epps is SOOOOO funny! The first time he said it I fell out when I saw the baby...lol... :D

I didn't recognize Montell Jordan until they showed his name at the end. sad, huh?
I thought the movie was okay. slightly predictable, but a nice movie anyway.

When I first saw the music video with Missy, MC Lyte, Beyonce, and Free I thought it was Montell Jordan, but I wasn't sure because of all the hair. He was on the Tom Joyner Morning Show right before the movie came out and they confirmed it was him.

I'm glad in his new video he has cut the hair and gotten rid of the twist or knots that he had.:D
