Happy hoosier post?

Has anyone ever seen hoosier post something happy? Just wondering if I've missed it... Not that I don't appreciate the new, because I do. Just wondering.

YES I HAVE!!!!!!

If there were less BAD NEWS, MAYBE HE COULD COULD POST THE GOOD NEWS! , But it do not happen!:(

Why, less good News.:o

Maybe, with the posting of the NOT GOOD News, some people will get the damn idea, that it anint cool to act like a fool!

I have seen a good news Hoosier Post, but beyond that, I think Hoosier provides a service.

The greek system has a lot of problems, and I believe it is important for us to be up to date on what's is happening in the Risk Management arena -- and what is happening to chapters who foul up -- and why.

We can't have our heads burried in the sand over this stuff. If Hoosier didn't post this stuff, I might have to.

Tom Earp 09-18-2003 05:42 PM

DELTAALUM, what you just said, or myself!

I dont want to post Negs, but if there are Posotives, they will be posted !

Is there more sand in your hood than mine???

Yes, but I doubt that you would put a snarky title on it.

The articles and links are one thing. The editorializing is another.

Most of the time, the groups being "editorialized" about deserve it. In the Greek Life world one word can sum up the acts of many that get mentioned in the news -- stupid.

Why bad news?

I once attended a presentation given by a "news doctor", also known as a consultant to broadcast news stations. He gave a great example. If you have a car and three tires are working just fine and the fourth is flat, which wheel would you write the news story about?

I really don't appreciate people starting threads for the sole purpose of calling people out. If you have an issue with Hoosier, what exactly is the point of airing it out in public?

To his Hoosier's credit, i've noticed (in general) his more recent threads have less opinion/editorial.

sugar and spice 09-18-2003 06:24 PM

Usually because the mods have started editing it out! ;)

Tom Earp 09-18-2003 06:32 PM

While I have been a Backer of hoosier, and I see a few more come on to the realization, so he post Negatives. Get over it!

He is a Greek Alum, simple as that!

he does his thing whereby others post on other threads.

I think he is right and he and I have a had a few discussions about it.

So he post a head line on Post. Got your attention did it not?

He is not the one who wrote the articles, he is just passing it along! Period!

Damn, just think, if there were no bad press to let us as Greeks know about, he would be posting pablem crap like some of us usually do!

Kitso, think I will go burn a Filet Mignon, want to come down!:D

-----------------------

S $ S, when did the Mods start editing hoosiers post out?

News to me:(

Guess I am not in the Mod Thread.

sugar and spice 09-18-2003 06:38 PM

They won't delete his entire post -- just some of the comments he likes to make. For example, if the title of hoosier's thread reads "Fraternity returns to UGA three years after hazing death" I've seen mods edit it to read "Fraternity returns to UGA."

This has happened with a couple of his recent posts, I think.

well, with the exception of what you just mentioned a couple others i think his intentions have altered a bit.

Tom Earp 09-18-2003 06:46 PM

Yep, you are right! They just changed the heading only! I found that wrong, but not my call!

Some get a little thinned skinned about it but it is still true of which he posts.:(

I have never changed anything unless asked by the poster!

This is an open forum!
