What Are All You Doing For Rush??
 

Hey there! Soooo....do any of you have any ideas or themes set up for Rush? This year I am the VP for my land chapter and I have decided on this theme...

"Bee a Beta"

I am going to do everything in Black and Yellow (our colors) and I have already purchased some bee stamps and stickers. For the members I am going to challenge them to "think outside the hive" and "spread the word about beta". The Beta Without a Badge poem (see the strawberry patch) is a good one for the members to get them inspired, I think.

We have decided to not Rush until after the holidays in January...as there are only 6 of us in the land chapter...even if we get just 1 or 2 pledges that will be enough...

I am excited to hear anything that you are doing or any ideas...

What a cute idea!! My chapter is also rushing during the Spring semester (starts in February). We have four pledges right now, so we want to spend time getting to know them before we extend membership to others. We are Friendly Venturing though, and I plan to make good use of the Colors of Friendship theme. Crayons will certainly come into play. Don't you just love a new box of crayons??:)

The crayon theme is awesome...the dollar store has big crayon banks...they would make cute decorations...and then cover the tables with white paper and have people doodle or something...make centerpieces with the boxes of caryons on colorful paper shreds...

Ok...the crayon thing has created a monster now...LOL...
