Big Sis/Lil Sis!!!
 

We turned in our lists of top 3 picks for Big Sis tonight! Our pledge ed has already assigned bigs since meeting, so I'm excited. How does your local do big sis revealing?

ALX did our big sis/lil sis at initiation. We brought out beta fishes to the beta class and those were presented to the little sisters by their big sis's....very exciting. I cried. haha.

We have a scavenger hunt to find out who-goes-to-who.

Like...Erica's clues were blue, Karen's were green, and mine were purple.

Once again....I am SO glad that we have a small campus!

So my local did the same, the littles picked thier top 3. Sometimes the actives would put together a list of thier top 3 and other times we just made a list of the actives that were taking littles and then figured it out from there.
Revealings are always different, but our favorite is the the candle passing. Actives make a circle and the pledge stands in the middle, actives will pass around the candle and when the big feels like it she will blow it out. It really fun to do cuz we always would mess with thier heads. At other revealings used a ball of yarn, the big would get one end and the little would get the other. However the yarn was all over the apartment, so the little was going in and out of rooms over people (actives stayed in one spot) around objects, this was always fun cuz the little culd walk right by thier big many times. We also did a ball game but thats too long to explain.

our revealing ceremony is the very last part of our initiation ritual. i can't really say much about it, but it involves being given your big sis's lavaliere (to wear until you get your own). It's such a warm feeling when that happens!!
