NO ONE SEEMS TO BE ALIVE!!! :-) I love you guys and I know how busy you all are, either getting ready for recruitment (me), going through recruitment, finishing up recruitment, or getting to know your new members. I just wanted you all to know that I love you and that I'm still alive:-D

Aww! I love you too! You are correct though, Eta Kappa is in the middle of recruitment!! Here is how it's gone so far...

Recruitment seems to be down this year, only a little over 200 girls showed up for the first day (265 had signed up over the course of the summer and since school started).

Saturday - First day for us was open house...all the sororities (there are 6 on campus) had a room in our schools conference center. There were 6 rounds and girls came in and talked to the sisters, etc. The only thing each GLO was allowed to have in their room is their sisters and one 4'x6' "brag board" (with pictures, etc.). After round 1, each PNM has to cut 2 chapters.

Sunday - We had 150 (about 75% from round 1) girls come to round 2, which was house tours. This is the first time the PNM's see our chapter houses. DG rocked this round...we gave tours and made occulars (SP?) as a philanthrophy project. PNM's cut one house after this round.

Monday - Round 3: WE HAD AN 86% RETURN RATE!! Round 3 is skits, so we did DG's and the City and it was super cute!!! I'll find out how many will return later this afternoon/evening.

Round 4 (Pref) isn't until Thursday night (I'm not sure why Panhellenic decided to do it this way...)...I can't wait to see who returns!

And Bid day is Friday! Yippy! I can't wait for it to all be over...it's a lot of fun...but it's sooooo much work (sooooo much more than I had imagined!!). MS lasted until 1 AM last night! But it's all worth it...

Yes, but back to the point of this thread! I miss everyone too!

One night during recruitment, we had a FOUR HOUR long MS. It was soooo long!!

One of our MS lasted 5 HOURS!
