Just because I live in the Dallas metro area DOES NOT automatically make me a Cowpokes fan, even though the TV and radio stations are in absolute lovefest mode over how The Tuna (aka head coach Bill Parcells) will deliver Da Boys from evil and bring them another Stupor Bowl ring.

you can be a fan and still know they suck - I'm a die hard Auburn Tiger fan and I'll admit this year they suck, even though they were hyped all summer long.

Exactly! Think about all those diehard Red Sox fans who are convinced that THIS year will be the year, every year. I've never seen a more passionate baseball fan than in Fenway.
