How do you know when someone has sent you a private message???
 

So I decided to update my profile, and I happened to click on the box that says "View all Messages". I do that, and I see that people have been sending me messages since last year! I had NO idea! I was not being rude or snobbish for not responding-I promise-I just didn't know! There should be something that everytime you log on, something says that "You have X number of messages unread or waiting" :( So I apologize for those who I didn't write back- actually all of you made some good points to some of my postings and responses to postings, and even though some are a little outdated now, I enjoyed reading them! Thanks, and I will now endeavour to try to check them more often!

Click on the 'User CP' icon, then under your profile/preferences, be sure that the options for sending you an e-mail or popping a window the next time you visit the site are set to on - most times it's set to 'Off' by default.
