Famous FIJI alum passes at 54

(CBS/AP) John Ritter, whose portrayal of the bumbling but lovable Jack Tripper helped make the madcap comedy series "Three's Company" a smash hit in the 1970s, died of a heart problem after falling ill on the set of his new TV sitcom. He was 54.
John Ritter was a graduate brother from USC (1970). He will be greatly missed. I was thought it was really cool to tell people that John Ritter was FIJI.

Oh my gosh! So sudden and so sad! His career really seemed to be taking off again... and Three's Company was such a part of my childhood ~ again, so tradgic to lose such a talented actor at such a young age.

Yes... was very sad news. Strange when someone so young suddenly passes ad astrum... makes you realize how fragile life is, and how important it is to make sure you live each day to its fullest.

Brother Ritter will be missed.

BTW - whatever has happened to Johnny Carson???

Man, this really bothers me. For some reason, it doesn't seem natural.
