Sorority stuck in a rut

I would like to bring something up to my sorority, I feel as though we have too many events that are centered around food. I know this might sound like a stupid tread to some but I know there are other things that we can do could be fun. After the girls receive there bid from formal recruitment they get a few hours to hang out with us and the activity that the girls came up with is a movie and a pot luck dinner. We always do this. For one of the informal recruitment events we had was a pot luck. I think we should do something fun instead of sitting around watching a movie and just eating. WE could go bowling or do something else. It's just that the girls are set in their ways and like to keep doing the same old boring stuff.

If you have any ideas or suggestions please let me know.

Thanks
Annice

Last year after formal, we just hung out, and sure there was food, but that wasn't the main focus. I think the most important thing that night is to showcase your sisterhood. We went outside and played move your feet in the front yard. Maybe do a ceremony or go bowling as you said.

How about roller skating or ice skating or something fun you did as a teenager? I'd love to go roller skating again (and I know my sisters would love it also!) My chapter carved pumpkins around Halloween time and we made Easter baskets for a local children's hospital around Easter. Then we would deliver the baskets and watch the children light up with happiness. We would also have sisterhood nights where we would make letters and iron them onto shirts, bags, or whatever StichWitchery adheres to. Obviously some of these suggestions won't help you right now, but they are some ideas to look into for the future.

Hope this helps. Good luck :D
