Recruitment starts today!!!

We're going to do so well this year *crosses fingers*. Our recruitment chair is the isht, and I did a kick ass video.

Are we allowed to post recruitment stories from our side? I'd like to hear how other chapters are doing!

Please do!!! I love reading threads about the other side of rush. Sigma Kappa had a great thread about UNLV. I loved reading that one.

I would have posted more about what I experienced helping out at Epsilon Psi, but I have not been involved in soooo long. I was afraid I would post something I shouldn't have. I am an expert at sticking my foot in my mouth.:rolleyes:

Holly, good luck this week. I am going to try to make it up with weekend...althought it looks like I over-extended myself for this weekend, so I hope I still have time!

Much like the thread started by justamom, they;re having a blast!!

Today was the open house, and I'm so excited. I met so many quality girls today. I heard that we just have a really great bunch of PNM's who really want to be here (here as in recruitment, not here as in...oh you know what I mean). I have two rush crushes! I'm taking another little sister this fall, so if we get either of these girls, I would love to take one.

We even had a girl start crying at our party! She was one of my rush crushes, and she was so happy to be at our party that she started to cry. I freaking love that girl.

All in all, the girls seemed really happy at our parties. We got nothing but compliments, so I hope that means a lot of our girls come back.

So far, so good. Lots of girls came back today and they were super cool and cute. They all seem to like us. I hope they don't end up in another chapter.

We got lots of compliments on our shirts and theme, too. We decorated with stars and clouds and moons and stuff, and our shirts were black baby tees which said on the front "I dream of AGD." On the back was a picture of "I dream of Jeannie" and said "Why make a wish when you can live a dream?" I loved it.

And everyone loved my video. Of course they did. It kicked ass. :D

Oh yeah, three words: LEGACY = RUSH CRUSH

Zeta Alpha got the most awesome girls!!! And yes, quota was only 9, but we got 8 of the most quality girls you can imagine. And I was such a pessimist about it, too. I thought that all these other sororities got so many more girls through snap bidding and stuff so I was bitching (and probably drove my girls insane).

But oh my god. BOTH girls I preffed (my rush crushes) went us. I was CERTAIN that one was going to another sorority, which made it even more exciting that she went us.

Can I just say how much I freaking love my chapter?

Oh, and thanks Denise for the kind words about our pref ceremony. :D You freaking rock, by the way. This is Holly, in case you haven't figured it out yet :D

Holly, like there was ever a doubt my girls would have an awesome turn out! I am only sorry I could not be there! :( I thought I would be able to come for Bid Day but I was grading papers (no fun). I left a message on Kimi's cell because I couldn't reach you or Amy. Let me know if there is anything coming up on a weekend...otherwise, I guess I'll see you at Homecoming! :)

This year was awesome, and thank you Denise for all your help and for your encouraging words. (This is Tara) I'm so excited about the girls that we got. Plus now I have a great little who likes karaoke. Yay!!! I'm so very excited, this year is going to be great. :D
