Make a Wish

Hello Beautiful Chi Omega's!!!!!
I was in Things Remebered today ordering my little a birthday present. I return from neutrality the day after her birthday so I can't wait!!!! But anways, they had little silver star boxes with rhinestones on them and you can have them personalized. Part of the money they make goes to make a wish and it comes with a a few tiny stars with various phrases such as "love" and "dream" engraved. It's super cute for all our Chi Omega jewelry and badges. So just thought I'd let you all know since it's for Make-A-Wish!!!!!!

Iota Zeta Chapter Grants a Wish!

UNK CHI OMEGA HELPS GRANT WISH

Date: September 6, 2003

On September 6, members of Chi Omega at the University of Nebraska at Kearney teamed up with the Make A Wish Foundation to grant 4-year-old Brooke Peterson of Bertrand her wish to go camping with her family. They gave Brooke and her family a handicap accessible camper which will allow camping as a family possible.

"The small town held a mini parade full of motorcycles, fire trucks and police cars with Brooke's new camper at the end of the line," said Ashley Buchman, Chi Omega marketing director. "The women of Chi Omega grilled hot dogs and burgers for the Bertrand townspeople."

Also throughout the week the frats will be participating in penny wars.

Just thought I would share this with you so other chapters could do it too. I think its going to be a success.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go!

What sort of things did yall have to do in order to win? We don't have a GLO on campus that does something like this, so I was just curious! :D

Well we had to select a man to represent us as our "big man on campus"...and i choose my big brother. But we had to do field day events, raffle tickets, coin jars, a bowl a thon, t shirt sales, and the last day was a pagent. All the points were based on money you raiseed, placing in events, and participation. It was awesome! And just a few more props to the Chi O's.....we were the ONLY sorority to compete, so we beat a bunch of boys (including the gorgeous rugby team:p )
