Oh ladies I must express my disdain,

I recieved my letter today and was rejected to pledge for the fall, my heart is truly broken, I guess that anything worth having at all is worth working for and waiting for, so I will for AKA...

My most sincere feelings of sympathy go out to you. Just remember everything happens for a reason and everything has a season. Your's has just not come now. Look at this as a time for self-assessment, refection and improvement. So for next year or semester remember that Alpha Kappa Alpha will be here, will you? (not literally alive but here in the spirit of trying again)

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Every year, I think that I did better than the previous one and that I can take the possible rejection, but I end up crushed in the end. Is this your first time applying?

I KNOW OF A GIRL, NOW SOROR, WHO WAS REJECTED 2 TIMES...THE THIRD TIME WAS A CHARM!

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THE SITUATION WAS THAT REGARDLESS OF BEING REJECTED 2 TIMES, SHE STILL HAD THAT DESIRE, DRIVE AND DETERMINATION TO GET WHAT SHE WANTED! NOW, SHE IS A SOROR! I AM SURE IT DOES NOT MATTER TO HER HOW MANY TIMES SHE HAD TO SUBMIT, BUT IN THE END...SHE MADE IT!

Maybe you would want to determine why you were denied for membership. From there you can change what is needed.
