Recomendations
 

Hey everyone! I am going to be rushing at the University of Washington pretty soon and I was wondering about recs. I have one so far and I was wondering if any of you guys would be willing to write me one or refer me to someone who might want to. I don't even know for sure how important recs are at UW but I'm sure that they can help seeing how I don't know many people in the greek system at UW. There are 16 sororities on campus which is a lot i know, so I don't expect to get recs for every one but if anyone wants to help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I only have one so far (thank you so much SmartBlondeGPhB!!!), so if you could maybe do it then here is the list of the sororities on campus:

Kara, I've been looking at your post for 2 days and I hope you have received some PMs. I don't know how many 'takers" you will get on requesting a rec. Comfort levels differ for people on this issue.
Does your town have a Panhellenic Alum Assoc.?
Have you tried adults/graduates
church
parent's friends
work
school councelors
relatives- you may be unaware they had an affiliation
Doctor's family/Optomitrist's family...

It's kind of late to be getting started on this, but some have said different GLOs at different schools can be mor lax. I was under the impression that UW "liked" recs.

Anyone know where Roxychldr (ooh I messed up that spelling) is?
Isn't she a DG?
