Create a Personal Time Capsule
 

I am at work bored and was just thinking of journal topics that I used to give my students and was really surprised that we had never discussed this before on GC.


If you had to bury a time capsule to represent your life from birth to NOW, what 6 items would you include?


I used to make my students only pick 3, but I will be nice and double it for the grown folks. :D

Fine...I'll bite. I've been looking at this thread for days trying to think of six things.

Born in 1968 :eek: :eek: :D

1. Afro Pick and Afro sheen
2. Bell Bottoms, pair of goucho pants
3. Atari 2600 with pong and pac man
4. Picture of the World Trade Center (From my apartment in Brooklyn I remember seeing them BUILD those towers. I also saw them MOMENTS after the first plane hit driving into NYC form NJ.)

Born in May 1979 in Queens, NY at 4:18PM:

1. One album with a zillion baby pics
2. Pic of me on the 96th floor of the Twin Towers looking down at Statue of Liberty when I was 6 (my parents used to work there)
3. One awards album from elementary school
4. A pic of my boyfriend and I at a restaurant :D
5. My collection of 80s breakdancing beats/music :p
6. All my track & field awards/newspaper clippings from high school
