He was a sell out and wimp. I would have punched him right in the face and been like "where is your 8 armed god now?" He claimed to be a leader of his people, the Indians, but most Indians call themselves Native American. That dude sucked.

Uh...people from India *are* "Indians".

"Native Americans" are called the misnomer "Indians" because Columbus landed in North America, saw these brown skinned people, thought he was in India, and called them Indians.

Columbus was wrong and off his target by only a few thousand miles.....

Ok WOW...umm being that my mom is from India and I am therefore half Indian myself I take HUGE HUGE HUGE offense to this. Ghandi was NOT a sell out and a wimp and you are pathetic for even letting that thought cross your mind. And I am NOT Native American. I can't BELIEVE someone would be so ignorant, who on earth do you think you are?!

Billy, I'm offended as well - your blatant disregard for other cultures is completely out of line. I personally cannot believe that you would stoop so low as to attack a man who did so much to free the people of India of the oppressive rule of the tea-drinking fops of the English Empire. While his ways do not appeal to us angry Americans in today's day and age, perhaps we should consider that peaceful protests and demonstrations may have been superior to our armed conflicts in nations such as Grenada, Iraq, and WWII. Also, in the movie version, I would have wanted to have sex with the man who played Ghandi - he was turning straight men gay, and I'm living proof.

I wasn't joking. He didn't work for all Indians, only those who were his same religion. He didn't care about Muslims, Jainists, Buddhists or any one else that supported him before his peaceful thing worked (which I applaud). I take offence that after India was freed, he did nothing to change to caste system.

Ok so maybe next time before posting something that could offend a lot of people, you need to justify your reasons and not just write an open-ended statement. Also it would definitely help to be culturally correct.
