Quite the opposite of the general feeling...

But is anyone NOT excited about recruitment or rush or whatever term is most PC right now? I see loads of posts on recruitment, both on the PNMs' and Actives' side, and how everyone is excited about it. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there who is less than excited about it. I'm not trying to bring a downer on the excitement and positivity that is going on, so please don't yell at me; I'm just curious. Hope everyone has a good one. And best of luck in recruitment.

Could it be that you are just a bit burned out on it all? It can happen. I think that for an event like rush, whether NPHC, NPC, or MCGLO, it can get to be soooo consuming because you have to make sure it all goes well for the duration of the rush. That is a lot of pressure and stress to have to live through.

Don't feel bad. Just take a few steps back and let your sisters 'drive' for a while. :)

I know where you're coming from, though I'm not one of them. I just graduated and I really miss all the prep for recruitment and recruitment itself-- I loved meeting all the new girls! But when I talk to some of my sisters back at school, I know a few are just eh about recruitment, whereas others are really excited to tell me what they've been doing in preparation for it.

The only thing I didn't like about recruitment was the fact that I wasn't a good "rusher". It made me really nervous. :) Otherwise, it was a lot of fun and I loved getting new sisters!

I have to say that rush GC-style is hella more fun than when I actually had to do it. :)
