Related to Greek Life
I just want to say THANK YOU!!! to all of our hubbies, wives, children, animals, friends, etc. for putting up with us these last few days, weeks, years, etc. I know that my hubby has put with my spending hours with my chapter, running around town(s) looking for something specific or going to PH meetings.
Thanks for the little arts project he made b/c I am creative-deficient;) :p He celebrates with me when I am happy and is there when I need someone to listen to me be glad/sad/mad.... He fixes the computer when I need that information NOW! Let us all take a moment or more to thank those special "Greek" and non-"Greek" people in our lives which allows us to become more dedicated to our organizations and/or the "Greek" family as a whole :D |
A big THANK YOU to my fiance, who said, "I can't say that I understand the whole sorority thing, but since it's important to you, I'll try."
There wasn't a greek system at his school, so I really appreciate this! |
I want to say thank you to my fiance who has put up with my greekness. We started dating when I was a new member and I told him that I'm sorry but I put my sisters before you, and he totally understood. Now he could be an honorary Sigma Kappa.

I would like to say thank you to my fiance for putting up with me coming out of the apartment at all hours during initiation week and recruitment week...and for being "man"ual labor for my sisters in helping move lofts and what not into the sorority wing...
I also want to thank my parents who could not believe I joined a sorority but have supported me through it all...even more after they met my sisters and realized how happy I am... |
A million billion kisses to my independent husband who has put up with my devotion to Greek life! This includes loads of calls all summer from PNMs and their moms, not getting to use the computer or phone because I'm on GreekChat, learning about Greek life and sororities so he'll know what's going on when the Pi Phis, AOIIs, and Chi Os are congregating here--or so he can understand, say, his little cousin's rush at UGa.
I hope he alum-initiates when my sons pledge. Not if, when. |
