Alpha Gams in the New Jersey/New York area?
Hi! I may be relocating to North-Central Jersey so I was doing some research. The AGD site says that there is a New Jersey Alumnae club, but I can't seem to find a way to contact them. Same thing with the active college chapters in NJ. Anyone know anybody out there?
Thanks, Julie :) BTW, I'm going to be visiting NJ as well as NYC from 9/6 to 9/11. Anything Alpha Gam going on at that time? |
Julie,
First of all, welcome to Greek Chat! I hope you love it as much as the rest of us do! I suggest that you contact Rebecca Battle-Bryant, who is the International contact for Junior Circle. She'll be able to tell you how to get in touch with the JC or alumnae club. I'm pretty sure you can look her up on the public side of our website. If not, PM me for her email address. If you haven't introduced yourself in the Roll Call thread, please do! :) LIEP, Maria |
Julie,
My chapter advisor is a member of the NJ Alumnae Club. I know they're a fairly small group, and I'm not sure how often they meet. I may have their contact info somewhere at home, but if not, I will ask her for it when we have EC next weekend. There is a very active Junior Circle in NYC, however, and I know a lot of sisters in north Jersey who attend their events. Their website is http://www.agdnyc.com. The only collegiate chapters in NJ are Seton Hall, which is in north Jersey, and Stockton, which is in south Jersey. If you want to travel to PA, the St. Joe's chapter in Philadelphia, the Lafayette chapter in Easton (my chapter! :)), and the Lehigh chapter in Bethlehem are fairly close to NJ. Let me know if you want any more specific info, and I will see what I can do. Good luck with your move! Loyally, Donielle |
