Send Violets to U of A Delta Gamma Chapter
 

Hey girls, if you haven't read my other thread 'kind of depressed' here is an overview. U of A's chapter, Delta Gamma, is going through a rough spot. They have about 25 actives and matched only about 11 girls through formal fall rush. They will be participating in COR.

Okay with that said, I think it is important for all ADPi's to support this chapter before they end up having to close. I feel very strongly about this because they are my chapter of inititation.

Just wanted to let you all know that I received the sweetest reply from the ladies at our Delta Gamma chapter in Tuscon. I was so touched that they replied to the card I sent (my own chapter hasn't even done that :confused: :( )

They wrote, "so far COR looks to be a great success."

I really hope that things continue to go well for their chapter!

Thanks again ASUADPi for providing an address to their chapter. If you have any more news, I'd love to hear it.

I got a reply, too! And, I'm thrilled to report that they didn't use the exact same words!

Please keep us posted - these are obviously quite classy ladies!

I emailed them "Violets" today and to tell them how amazing they are and how proud we are to call them our sisters!

I sent out a card to them today :) I also included the sisterhood poem I posted in the other thread :)

I too mailed out my card today. I was very picky on the card I wanted. I wanted something about sisterhood. I found one that described perfectly how I feel about some of my sisters up here in Phoenix. I enclosed a note telling the girls that they were in my thoughts and that I hoped they were doing well. I also let them know that the card really spoke to me and that they will most likely all find something in the card that describes their relationship with their sisters.
I look foward to their response so that I know how they are doing. As soon as I get one I'll let y'all know.

Do we know if there are any members of the DG chapter here on GC? This could be a great resourse & outlet for them.

I'm not sure. I'm more than willing to email Elizabeth and let her know. Does anyone know her email address? I remember someone PM'd me with it.
It would be a great outlet for them.
It is amazing how many people really don't know about greekchat. A sister at ASU was like 'what'.

I recieved a lovely card from the Delta Gamma chapter in the mail today! They just initiated 10 new Deltas into their chapter and are very excited about their chapter growing! :)

I don't know if there are any Delta Gamma chapter sisters here, but a big congratulations going out to them!!! :) :) :)

I don't know if there are any DG sisters on the board other than myself. I was extremely pleased to find out they initiated 10 girls and they are still actively participating in COR.
U of A homecoming is this weekend and the girls have invited all DG alumna, I'm hoping to be able to go down there, meet the girls and just find out ways to help them from Phoenix.

I received a card from them yesterday as well. It was great to hear about how positive they were about the new women they had initiated!
