Fall Rush is upon us!
 

We're really excited about rush. It begins tomarrow and we're hoping it will go off without a hitch, I'm on rush committee and we have had a blast thinking up ideas for rush events! Has anybody held rush yet??? If so, how many girls did you all give bids to and how did rush go?

Our rush is next week 9th, 10th, (bothe formal rush) and 11th (informal rush) with preference Tues the 16th, Wed the 17th and pinning on the 18th.

Last fall we initiated 16 girls, and with more than 12 graduating over this year we are crossing our fingers for another large rush class :)

PS Whats your rush theme this year? Our chair came up with "You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl!"

Well... we don't really have a rush theme but this is how our week is going...

Tues. Info night and games
Weds. SA tells all- where we have tables set up with questions (some serious and some funny, a way to not only get to know the girls rushing, but to get to know sisters a little bit better)
Thurs. Girls on a mission- A picture scavenger hunt we're hitting up all the sights in Murray and taking pictures with some landmarks.
Fri. Kick back with SA- invite only pref. night with dinner at a sisters home.

At our initial info night we had a few girls come out, but we're hoping to get a few more during rush! Good luck to everyone out there during rush.

Last night was formal rush #1 and we held it at Ag Hall and served ice cream from the dairy store. 10 girls came out, and at least half of them came back to the house for tours :) We also invited them all back to informal rush on Thursday to play volleyball.

Here is hoping for 10 more girls tonight!

Hey there folks!!! I am glad to report that fall rush is over, and we've got 9 girls in the gamma class! We're all really excited about how the week went! I got sick Monday afternoon and couldn''t make it to bid acceptance, so that has bummed me out. I hope that everybody else's rush went well. I am going to take my antibiotics and head to bed now!

After 3 nights of info and meeting girls we have invited 17 girls to preference! :) This will be Tues and Wed night, and Thursday is scheduled as pinning, so heres hoping for an awesome Alpha Zeta MC Class!

We had Rush here at Colorado State last week and it went great! We gave bid to 4 girls, and had some great activities, I hope everything goes as well for you!

Last night was evening #1 for preference, and we interviewed 8 girls, we have about the same number scheduled for tonight. We should be finished by 10 or 11 pm so about 10 hours till we know how many bids will be going out! :)

OH I LOVE RUSH! :)

12 Bids were just delivered and 4 girls have allready called to accept! YEAH!

Tomorrow night is pinning and we will have an official count :)
