Longaberger Baskets

Does anyone buy Longaberger baskets? Which basket is your favorite? How long have you been buying?

I recently started selling. I bought one on Ebay the other day, it's super cute! Can't wait to get it!

I like the candy corn one!

I have that one that is shaped like your stairs and you can put stuff in it and take it upstairs when you have time.

I like it a lot; it really comes in handy! But I think that'll be my only Longaberger basket because I simply can't afford any more expensive addictions!!!!! :)

Their stuff is adorable, though, so you never know...

Arg...Longaberger!!

Heh..my mom is a consultant...currently I have 26 baskets in my room -alone-. It's a very expensive hobby, that's for sure!! A few of my mom's baskets are worth well over $500 dollars now, heh.

As for favorite..I don't think I really have one..unless it's their Easter collection in which I favor any basket that is their "natural" kind :) I'm more of a pottery person.

Oh, have you been to their homebase in Dresden, Ohio?? The home of the giant basket?? (which is an office building..lol) Neat place for a girls outing :)

I don't get what the big deal about these are. Can someone explain? :)

These baskets were really big with the mommas in PA. Lots of HS had Bakset Bingo for fundraisers. A lot of my sisters' moms had a few in their homes. I think at our State day for ZTA someone had a Longaberger as thier basket for the donation to the auction we do for the Foundation.

PM_Mama I think the big deal is that they are well made, stylish and useful....anything more than that I don't kno! :)

I have a friend who works for Longaberger. He used to work in the basket, lol. We used to tease him all the time. :)

My friend's mother held a party and she bought a few and gave them as gifts last Christmas. I think they're NICE and all, but I cannot justify the money to spend on a basket  !
