Evolutionary Question?

Hey. Um...this is gonna sound weird but, can tigers be shemale? Or is that a human only thing?

AchtungBaby80 08-28-2003 09:55 PM

I don't know about tigers, but snails are "shemales."

Um what do you mean?
Hermaphroditic born with both sex parts?
Tomboy tigers?
Let me know and I'll look into it.

Umm on the Internet, no at the Zoo :D

Is there a reason you're asking this question? Do you know any "questionable" tigers? ;)

Unfortunately this was not something we covered in any of my bio courses in college.

I thought any mammal was subject to genetic mutation?

decadence 09-06-2003 10:10 AM

I wonder if it does happen & if it's prevalent

I do know there are Cheetah's with stripes (King Cheetah's) - a color mutation. That's why I found BillyOptimist's question interesting :).

You're right. The different color of human eyes is a perfect example. Blue/ light blue, Green and Hazel eyes have only been around for a few thousand yrs. And if I'm not mistaken, our pinky finger is also a mutation.
