Okay, I know I made a post a few days ago about a friend of mine's sister who is Tamyra Gray, and asked for support of her album when it releases next year. Why are my posts deleted? That's not cool at all. What's up with that. It ain't like I posted anything negative. Other's have made posts on here like mines and their posts didn't get deleted. So what was the point of deleting my posts? That was uncalled for.

I repeated the post in different forums, not just this forum. But if they didn't want the repeats, they could've just left one of em up and pm'ed me if they had a problem. Don't just go deleting my post without giving me a reason why and saying nothing. That's wack. I mean dang, I can't promote my homegirl's sister?

Whenever you "spam," meaning you post the same message in multiple forums on Greekchat, "all" your posts will be removed by the site administrator. If you want "one" post to remain, then you should probably post only in the most appropriate forum (like the greeklife forum if you want everyone to see). Also realize that there's no need to post in multiple forums, because most folks click on "view recently posted" and through that, your thread will show up regardless of where it's posted.

That was still wack for them to delete em all. They could've left one of em up, or better yet, move it to the greeklife forum. They ain't have to delete my stuff like that.

Imperial1, nothing personal. If we let everyone post whatever they wanted as many times as they wanted, greekchat would quickly become out of control. It's part of my job as site admin, as well as that of site moderators, to make sure "spam" and other inappropriate messages do not remain on the site.

You may not have intended to spam the site, but that is what happened. Your threads were all promoting your friends commercial business, that equals commercial solicitation and spam because of how many times you posted the messages.

Please realize that greekchat is a moderated website and we do this with the best intentions.

I'm just saying that if there was a problem, u could've let me know instead of deleting "all" of my posts. You could've moved one of them to the greeklife forums or something. I didn't want them all deleted.

Then go back and repost it in ONE appropriate forum/thread and be done with it.

I will if I can get a guarantee that my post won't get deleted again, even if I posted it right.

Well try it and see. You seem to think that this is a personal vendetta against you, but John made it clear it wasn't.

I come on greekchat.com to see what everyone's talking about in greekdom. I think Ms. Gray is a superb singer and I will get her album, but what does that have to do with greekchat? And don't take it so personally that your threads were deleted. I could see if you were putting money into this website, but you're not. With all do respect, yes what you are doing is called spam.

By the way you've acted in this thread, you may have even turned some people off to Ms. Gray. Just a thought, not trying to be a jerk. You should leave Ms. Gray's career to her marketing people.

I doubt when she wins a Grammy that she'll thank all the people of greekchat.com.

Okay, first of all, I help promote Tamyra via her website, as well as through one of her siblings who I am friends with. Yes, I am taking offense, because you're telling me to leave promoting her to her marketing folks. That's what street teams are for. And I've turned no one off of Tamyra by making this thread. They don't know Tamyra personally nor do they know me. I acted to ask a question about why there were posts of mines deleted and they were answered a long time ago, so you're late on that part.

And that last little comment of your's wasn't called for. But hey, I'm used to hearing haters like yourself. I'm guessing you're either a KOP or a Claybot. And forget the grammies anyways, they full of crap, that's why I stopped watching them 6 yrs. ago. Grammies ain't jack. And no she won't thank the people at greekchat, but she'll thank those that supported her and mostly the people at her site and her message board. And if you are a member of the H.O.T. boards as well as the Greekchat, you'll be thanked. My guess is u don't like Tamyra. I ain't trippin. You ain't gotta like her, a lot of others, however, do. ;)
