I saw a crown and ran after her!
 

I was getting off the subway tonite doing an errand before church when I spied a short blonde haired gal wearing a blue t-shirt with a crown on it! I thought....that could be a Zeta! I walked quicker to investigate and sure enough there were our letters on her shirt, Zeta Tau Alpha! She went to Ohio Northern, our Delta Theta chapter. We didn't get to chit-chit, she had company with her, but still it was great to see my persistance paid off! It's nice being in a big city and seeing sisters here and there. I'll be wearing my shirts more often when I'm out and about for sure. This just makes me want an alumni event even more!!

I love our sisterhood, what it stands for and how it links us all together. So proud to call those of you on GC my sisters!

Thanks Jackie :cool: I was trying to think of something different than "Meeting Zetas in Random Places". Must be the teaching training I've gotten this summer in writing. LOL

I love the title, too!

Recently I heard some collegians ask an alumna if a Zeta legacy was interested in them. The alumna replied,

"I think so. She has crowns in her eyes!"

It was a perfect answer and the girls were thrilled.

My little sis moved to NYC in mid August. I don't think that she is on GC but I'll get her to look into it ASAP. Are there any Alumni events there that I could pass along to her?
