Recruitment Nightmare
 

I need some serious help on this campus. Half of our chapter from last semester have either graduated or are no longer in school. We are desperately short on ideas for rush events and need to recruit badly. Please help with some ideas!!

hey!
i know how you feel. our chapter has not only gotten smaller, but we have lost some really strong sisters recently. first of all keep in mind it's quality, not quantity that matters. ideas for events: pizza, and movies are always good...must see TV nights, things where you can all sit around and relax and just talk. other good events are community service projects, if you all do something (like make holiday cards....). just keeping a one on one contact w/ the girls is what's most important. assign each sister to lets say 5 girls, and have it be her responsibility to keep up w/ those girls, call them, see how they're doing, and take a genuine interest in them.

I feel your pain, our chapter had three years of bad turn outs and more and more of us graduated but ,we would do really great at COB's. I suggest working as hard as possible for recruitment but, COB's are where you can really pick up some quality women.

But usually the PNM see who the sororties really are vs numbers so I really wouldn't worry abotu it you guys will do fantastic!

We have had a lot of excellent events, but my personal favorite was just going down to the local coffee house.
