How many active chapters do we have?
 

Hi ladies. I hope everyone is doing well. I have a question that the national site couldn't answer for me. How many total active chapters do we have? Thanks much in advance.

our website said 110, but ive heard that its closer to 120, but i might be wrong.

That's the same bit of info that I have; that we're closer to 120 rather than 110. I've been curious about it for a while and some of my sisters and I were coming up for questions to ask for our first annual Xi Man and that was one of them. :)

I think it is 111 + we will be colonizing 2 this fall.

according to the fall 2003 Quill, we have 111 active chapters. (ETA: i'm assuming this does not include colonies)

and in case some of you havent recieved your copy yet, here are the other stats listed:

number of initiated sisters: 130,052

number of active alum. associations: 132

number of women pledged between 6/1/02 and 5/31/03: 2958- a 4.8% increaase from the same period last year

number of women initiated between 6/1/02 and 5/31/03: 2789 - a 6.9% increase from the same period last year

average chapter gpa: 3.02

good job ladies!! :) always happy to see our fraternity growing! :D and hopefully we'll be colonizing at cornell next semester, so our numbers can go even higher!!
