Ear Worm
 

Have y'all heard this term? I heard it for the first time today on the radio...it means a song that you can't get out of your head.

On the AGD thread, someone was wanting to know the words to AGD version of "Today".....

guess which song I have in my head and it won't go away!:p

Ear worm?? Gosh I never heard that either. That just brings to mind an old X-Files episode where this worm infected people through the ear causing hostility to whoever was infected.

Classic ear worm song for when you're down in Orlando: "It's a Small World".

If you live anywhere near Anaheim, CA too that song is a definite earworm. Thanks Carnation now I have that song as an ear worm now....grumble

that's as bad as at Christmas - for some reason Jingle bell rock is always in my head - I swear I must hear it in every store I go into during the holidays, and even wake up humming it.
