Cold showers: not just for the horny anymore
Let's hear it for all the brave peeps with no AC in this heat!
I've been peeling myself off of my desk chair (leather). Also trying to blow dry my hair after a shower- by the time i'm done i need another shower. And putting on makeup? Forget it! |
yeah i've pretty much given up on blow drying my hair before going to work every morning!!
|
I have to take a cold shower but it's not by choice. :( Hot water heater hasn't kicked in yet. :(
|
Actually in FL is is not as hot as it was last year...but that is probably due to the torrential downpours EVERY DAY. It gets so monotonous.
P.S. AOX, I love the sig! |
sometimes i have to take cold showers, cause our hot water is set to work druring some parts of the day. it is supposed to save money. i hate it:mad:

I had to take a few cold showers when I was in college or at other times in my life that the hot water was down. They were chilly, but woke me up when I was semi-sleepy. I prefer warm to slight hot water for my showers even when living in the desert.

Recently moved into the hot non-AC dorms so every shower I've taken has been slightly chilly by choice! I feel so much more refreshed after a cold shower, mm!
|
When I lived in the house, I'd be stuck taking cold showers because the younger girls would go out earlier; therefore, they'd take their showers earlier at 8 or 9p.m... whereas, I'd take my showers at 10 or 10:30p.m... after a while I wised up and started taking them earlier.

ah the joys of not having blackouts where I live...
<knocks on wood> |
The first thing I thought when I saw the title of this thread was, poor Dani; darn those Navy deployments! :D
