Be Barbara Walters for a day......
If you could interview one person dead or alive, who would it be and why?
|
As a child I was fascinated with Harriet Tubman. I would go to the library and take out books about her. They always had spooky pictures with men and dogs looking for her and the runaway slaves. It scared me, yet held my fascination. I just thought she was so brave and so strong. I mean, talk about taking risks!
Her house (upstate NY) was just a few hours away from campus. I never got the chance to go, but I have plans to make it there one day. [This message has been edited by Serenity (edited August 15, 2000).] |
I don't know if it would be appropriate to interview/question him...but I would choose Jesus Christ. I am a Christian and I think to be able to just be in his presense would be so amazing and magnificent I wouldn't have time to ask anything!!! But if I could go back in time and spend the day with him that would be awesome. Spiritually I am always in his presence and eventually I will be able to spend eternal life with him...but hopefully that will be a ways down the road http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif
If I could interview a regular person it would be any of my ancestors just to know my history and where I come from. |
I am totally with you Catwoman...I would just want to interview Jesus! Oh, to just be in His awesome presence. I would just want to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. I wouldn't even be able to remember the questions I wanted to ask...I'd just want to sit and THANK Him...for dying for my sins, for interceding for me before the Throne of Grace, for grace, for mercy, etc. If I had 10 million tongues I couldn't thank Him enough for all He has done and for who He IS!!! I'm sorry, that couldn't be an interview...cause that would turn into a praise and worship service!!!!

You know when I first saw this topic last night, I was like who? I said I would want to interview Jesus, but I was not sure if I should have said that or not. So now that I see that you all have decided that's who you would want to interview, I am okay, now.
I would want to interview HIM so that I could learn from HIM and not MAN'S interpretation of what he ACTUALLY WANTED/WANTS from us or what HE ACTUALLY SAID. I would want to hear it from HIM! |
