Another "sorority" movie goes straight to video
 

I happened to catch this bit in a YahooNews story on DVD Releases:

Final Examination (Artisan, Oct. 21, $27), a horror film starring former MTV VJ Kari Wuhrer in a sorority girl reunion gone wrong.

imdb.com didn't have much on this movie (listed as Final Exam, but I found this on slasherpool.com:

The sorority girls at Omega Capa [sic] Omega are having a reunion at Hawaii. When one of the girls turn up dead in a pool, nervosity and paranoia starts spreading among the girls. Detective Shane, who has been sent to Hawaii from Los Angeles after screwing up a mission takes on the case with the help from detective Julie. As the bodycount rises rapidly, the detectives have to try harder and harder to crack this case open.

I was just at Blockbuster looking for movies to rent and in their new releases is a Horror Movie called "Delta Delta Die". It's about Delta Delta Pi sorority and they are all serial killers or something like that. I'm not into Horror movies so I passed that one up right away

I am appalled over movies like these! All filler and no substance, definitely force feeding the stereotype down everyone's throat. Best to boycott these movies!

This sounds hilarious! My friends and I love watching cheesy horror movies and we have so many sorority girls in our group that it'd be perfect.

Some movie about sorority girls who end up with some psycho killer. That's a movie I won't be renting!

I'd rather see cheesy horror movies that everyone knows are ridiculous than things like "Dying to Belong" Lifetime movies that people assume are based on a true story because it's on Lifetime.

Off topic, but...

Do any of you watch the soap opera One Life To Live? They are currently doing a hazing sorority prank storyline. It is also very stupid, and more of a bad rap for Greeks.

I had the pleasure of renting that movie last week. Delta Delta Dumb. It was neither a horror or a porno. It was just some chick with huge implants taking off her clothes and dancing around with knives. I suggest everyone waste their money elsewhere.

My mom and I saw that movie in Blockbuster the other night and she pointed it out to me. I was wondering if it was really pointless or just a cheesy horror movie. Now I got my answer! I guessI wont be renting it!

Ok not to hijack the thread but, Leslie AGD, I watch One Life to Live too. And the new hazing storyline is going to be really stupid. Those sorority girls are so stereotypical. I don't know why the writers are even going there. Wasn't the peace storyline enough?
