Check out our rockin' new website!

Hey, everybody! Kappa has just finished a complete overhaul of our website. If you have a minute, hop on over and check it out! It's awesome!

Looks fantastic!! I also think it is interesting (and smart!) that the website includes guidelines for protecting badges after a Kappa has passed away. Good thinking.

What a wonderful, informative website! Kappa has a lot to be proud of! :)

What a fabulous new site! The last Kappa site was kind of confusing to me, but this one looks great!

hotties on the front page def. gets points in my book ;)

KillarneyRose 08-05-2003 03:21 PM

EXCELLENT site! I too like the section regarding what to do with the badge.

Greekgrrl 08-05-2003 04:23 PM

I really like the site, it's really attractive and easy to navigate... but I don't get why the chapter listing is for members only? Personally I think it's great PR for our organizations to show all the great schools we're at, and using a Baird's Manual that's 10 years out of date isn't cutting it for us nosy folks anymore. :)

But that nitpick aside, go Kappa! Very classy. :)

KappaKittyCat 08-05-2003 04:38 PM

It's there, Greekgrrl, under the "Communities" section. Try this link.

AEPhiSierra 08-05-2003 05:59 PM

its a really nice design but the chapter listing thing is a little confusing. Who would look for the chapter listings under the heading communities?

KappaKittyCat 08-05-2003 07:43 PM

To be honest, I don't get that, either. But the good news is that there's actually one on the public side; there wasn't on the old site.

There wasn't much of anything on the public side of the old site.

And they're still getting the bugs out and adding stuff. They want to have subdomains and forums up by Convention, 2004!

I'm just really, really excited for this 'cuz I've been bugging all our national reps for a better website for years.

ZetaMelOU 08-05-2003 09:13 PM

I really like it! It's easy to navigate and it looks nice. I think Zeta is also revamping their website. I'll let you guys know when I see changes made.

AEPhiSierra 08-05-2003 10:05 PM

Yeah, it seems that every national is revamping their website - I know AEPhi announced at convention that a new website was on the way.

ditto...ditto...easy to read and lots of good stuff.
props for you.
