This is a brother of the Black and Old Gold giving a shout out to the lovely, sophisticated, and intelligent ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha...

I didn't see any Ice Cold Posts...so I thougt I would do so...Also, come check out your bruhz when you get a chance over on the Alpha message board...

This weekend while at convention...your President Soror Norma White (?) wowed Brothers and Fellow Greeks Alike with her speech...she was amazing...

and every brother who got up to speak afterword gave homage to their extensive genealogical lines of ALPHA...in which all told of Mother and Grandmothers who are/were AKA women...and only AKA women...as well of uncles, fathers and grandfathers of ALPHA

It choked I and my wife up as well as close friends b/c we are all members of the first family

I thought that was a profound statement of linkage for Brothers to make at their (our) national conference!

While we don't have a national mandate or a connecting constitution. There is a bond birthed in 1908 that is seemingly timeless....

just wanted to let you know that the Bruhz of Alpha have "mad" love for the women who didn't have to be told to start their own thing (and became the mother of the BGLOs Sorority Movement)!

Awwwwwwww, we love you too, frat. I was fortunate enough to be in Atl during some of the convention and I must say, bruhs were off the hook. I truly believe that there is nothing more sexy and intriguing than an intelligent ALPHA man representing that black and old gold. Sorors, if you missed it, make sure you make it to the next one.

No doubt, DG. I guess I was assuming that was a given. Sorors, if, after you register for Boule 2002, you still have some money and time left over, check out the bruhs!

Soror SkeeBunny, I made that comment because it amazed me during this Boule year how some sorors were crying broke about going to our national convention, but were quick to jet to Atlanta to hang with the Alphas (I'm serious!). I mean, we have two years to prepare for our own thing, so the crying broke thing while hanging around our Alpha friends just doesn't cut it with me. Of course, I need to shut up, as I just got active right after Boule registration, but still sorors, let's handle our own biz first, THEN have fun with everyone else!
