car question

Is there any way to make scratches less noticable?

As careful as I am about my car and where I park it, I found a nice scratch on it this morning. It's not a really deep scratch, but *I* can still see it :(

Any help would be appreciated!

Sometimes something as simple as a coat of wax will fade a scratch. If not, might try rubbing compound. Works the same way, but is stronger.

Of course it all depends on how deep the scratch is.

There are several products designed to remove auto scratches. You can find them at automotive stores. I think it probably depends on how deep your scratch is as to how well they work. You apply them just like a wax. I used one product recommended by a person in the store that worked well, but I don't remember its name. Hope you can get it out... I hate scratches, especially when someone else hits the side of my car.

the scratch doesn't look very deep, but it just annoys me that I know it's there.. hehehe

I've heard from some guys at work that handcream (skin moisturer) covers it up well.
